The 8th Street Fine Art Sale is sponsored by the Red River Watercolor Society (RRWS) and will be held at Davy Memorial Riverfront Park at 210 8t Street North, Moorhead MN.
The general purpose of this event is to provide artist members, with a focus on new artist members, with an opportunity to publicize their art, conduct a public art exhibition, display their work and develop visitor and customer relationships.
Exhibitors are responsible to collect and report all Minnesota sales tax and local taxes.
Exhibitor vehicles will not be allowed to park within 2 blocks of the event except during setup and take-down of display booths.
To be considered for special considerations or special booth requests, needs must be indicated on the application submitted to the Show Committee.
Exhibitors must set up by Wednesday at 11 a.m. for the opening of the show and may not start to tear down their display booths until after 7 p.m. Thursday. Exhibitors may set up Tuesday afternoon/evening prior to the opening of the show. RRWS will provide overnight security for Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
The event is non-juried. Participation fees include space rental and name tags. Artist listing will be included in an event brochure, regional advertising and event publicity if application is received before May 15.
The entry form must be postmarked by May 15 of the current year. Fees are non-refundable after June 1 of the current year. Applicants will be notified within one week of receipt of application and fees. The RRWS reserves the right to decline an application and will return the entry fee to the applicant.
All checks will be cashed within two weeks of receipt (unless other arrangements are made with the chairperson). Booth space is non-transferable and each exhibitor is restricted to one 12x12 foot space per participation fee. Exhibitors must provide their own display units, canopies, tables, chairs and other exhibition accessories.
